Solivita introduces 13 lifestyles in new model home park

The award-winning, active-adult community of Solivita in Poinciana has introduced 13 brand new model homes that already are drawing rave reviews from homebuyers.
“The response to our new showcase of homes has been absolutely fantastic,” said Helen McEnerney, president of the master-planned community of approximately 4,000 acres which posted 711 new home sales for nearly $210 million in 2005.
“We’ve introduced an outstanding selection of plans at sizes and price points designed to suit a wide variety of active adult lifestyles,” said McEnerney, noting Solivita earned nine marketing and design awards last year, highlighted by the Grand MAME Award (Major Achievements in Marketing Excellence) for Best Design.
Solivita’s model home park includes homes from each of its four collections, a neighborhood recreation center, and a refreshment area for home shoppers.
“It’s just another way of welcoming prospective residents and making them feel right at home,” said McEnerney.
Boasting Tuscan-style exterior elevations, models include two plans from the Keys Collection which are priced from the high $100s, three plans from the Gulfshore Collection which are priced from the low $200s, four plans from the Gold Coast Collection which are priced from the high $200s, and four plans from the upscale Coral Gables Collection at prices from the high $300s.
Plans presently range from the more affordable 2-bedroom homes in the Keys Collection which have been popular with singles, to larger 3- and 4-bedroom residences with oversized informal spaces in the Coral Gables Collection which have been appealing primarily to multi-generational families and homebuyers that like to entertain family and overnight guests.
“What buyers especially like is the fact that they can personalize each of the plans in every collection by making optional modifications that include everything from bay windows and additional bedrooms to guest casitas and 3-car garages,” McEnerney explained.
Among Solivita’s more popular plans is the 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath Venetian, one of three Parade of Homes award winners, which offers 2,548 sq. ft. of living area that features a “triple-split” design with three full bedroom suites, 12-foot ceilings in all living areas, a den, and formal dining room with coffered ceiling.
